Astreavera — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Astreavera ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Ashley Longpré, collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your name and email address when you create an account.

Birth data — the birth date, birth time, and birth place you enter for yourself or others, and (for timed readings) your current location. This is the core data the Service needs to compute charts. Birth time and place can be considered sensitive because they relate to identity and location, so we treat them with care.

Client data (practitioner accounts) — if you read for clients, the birth data, notes, intake questionnaire answers, saved highlights from readings, order/invoice records, and messages you exchange with them. You are responsible for having their consent (see our Terms). If a client's email matches an existing member account on Astreavera, readings saved to that client's record may be shared to that person's own account automatically, so both the practitioner and the client can see it. This can be turned off per client. Messages between a practitioner and a linked client are stored so both sides can see the conversation, and are only ever visible to the two people in that specific conversation.

Payment information — handled by our third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and subscription status, but we do not store your full card number.

Usage information — basic technical data such as device type, and which features are used, to keep the Service working and improve it.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to: compute your charts and generate readings; operate your account and subscription; keep your readings saved to your account until you delete them or close your account; respond to your messages; keep the Service secure; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your birth data for advertising.

3. How readings are generated

To produce a written reading, your computed chart data is sent to our AI text provider to generate the interpretation. Your raw birth data is processed on our server; the calculation happens there. We share only what is needed to produce your reading.

4. Geocoding

When you enter a birth place or current location, it is sent to a geocoding service to convert it into coordinates and the correct timezone. This is necessary to cast an accurate chart.

5. Data retention

Generated readings are saved to your account and kept until you delete them individually or close your account — they are not automatically removed after a fixed period. Account and birth data you save are kept until you delete them or close your account. When you delete your account, we remove your saved charts, client records, and reading history, and cancel any active subscription immediately (not at the end of the billing period, since you would no longer be able to use the remaining time). We remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain some records by law or by our payment processor's own requirements.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can manage much of this in the app, or contact us to make a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

7. How we protect your data

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. The calculation engine and stored data are kept server-side. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to safeguard what you entrust to us.

8. Third parties we use

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Astreavera, which may include: a hosting provider, a database provider, an AI text provider (for writing readings), a geocoding provider, and a payment processor. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.

9. Children

Astreavera is not intended for children under 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.

10. International processing

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure it remains protected.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
